The Sales Manager is responsible for the development of the Brazilian market. In charge of growing the revenue of MSC Cruises and gaining market share over the main competitors they handle daily business issues and recognize new business opportunities.
- Fluent in Portuguese and Advanced knowledge in English;
- 5 years’ experience in sales and management of key clients in the tourism sector, with appropriate education and training;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), more knowledge advantageous;
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis;
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset;
- Strong negotiation and building relationship skills;
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financials\/budgeting processes;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
- Strong flexibility;
- Develops and implements commercial strategies and sales initiatives in the Brazilian Market aligned with company’s strategy;
- Structures and organizes yearly commercial activities;
- Manages the commercial budget with the support of the Key Sales Executives and optimizes the allocation of the costs in order to generate a high ROI and drive incremental sales;
- Searches and identifies new commercial opportunities;
- Reviews sales results and implements the action plan to ensure sustainable revenue and market share growth;
- Analyses sales and other reports to make necessary adjustments to improve sales performance;
- Negotiates price, ensures profitability and manages elaboration of operational process flow with sales team;
- Maintains profitable relationships with key B2B and explore potential partners and clients;
- Cooperates with the marketing team to ensure that the marketing initiatives support the overall commercial plan;
- Manages and resolves daily operational and commercial problems;

Part of the MSC Group, MSC Cruises is the market leader in the Mediterranean, South Africa and South America, and sails year-round in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Its seasonal itineraries cover northern Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, South America, southern Africa, and the Persian/Arabian Gulf. As a result, MSC Cruises' fleet will double by 2026, while the passenger capacity will triple to reach five million passengers per year. MSC Cruises is the first cruise company to develop an investment plan of this length and magnitude. MSC Cruises feels a deep responsibility for the environments in which it operates, and was the first company ever to earn the Bureau Veritas "7 Golden Pearls" for superior management and environmental stewardship. In 2009, MSC Cruises began an enduring partnership with UNICEF to support various programmes assisting children worldwide.
