**Your Role at Baxter**

**Your Team**
As part of the IT regional team you’ll be leading the Technology team at Brazil Manufacturing site.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Provide direct supervision of individuals including mentoring, performance management and staffing decisions.
- Set team, group or service objectives and ensure they align with the IT vision and the teams’ day-to-day activities.
- Determine and manage priorities, timelines and schedules.
- Participate directly in the implementation of IT technical projects and installation of end-users computing needs.
- Interact regularly with customers to understand their business and to anticipate needed IT solutions.
- Review team, group and/or service deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence to the processes, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the budget process and monitor the budget as appropriate. Assist the business with IT capital and operating expense investment requirements.
- Participate in the research, analysis, selection and implementation of new tools, technologies and/or services.
- Develop, gather and measure relevant productivity metrics.
- Manage or participate on projects as required.
- Maintain local datacenter operations.
- Stabilish and Maintain relationship with regulatory compliance (FDA).
- Identify hazards and evaluate risks and environmental aspects of areas and processes under responsibility and implement appropriate control.

**What you’ll bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Masters / MBA in related field or similar
- Solid relevant work experience leading Technology in Pharmaceutical Companies is a must
- Strong hands on technical abilities in infrastructure and IT services.
- Experience with regulatory GMP’s 21CFR part 11 and computer system validations (CSV).
- Experience in the installation and administration of two or more of the following hosts and file server operating systems environments: Windows Server, VMware
- Experience in the installation, administration and fine-tuning on two or more of the following manufacturing systems: MES is a must and Infinity, LIMS is nice to have silimar.
- Overall knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and exposure to programming tools such as MS Visual Basic, Java, C++, etc. Ability to work with multiple priorities while having good organizational skills.
- Fully bilingual English is must have.
- Spanish is a nice to have
