The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.- Permanent role in Mitcham for an experienced Security Officer- Pay rate of $26.56 plus super and shift penalties where applicable- Work with an Employer of Choice

About the role

MSS Security is recruiting for Security Officers to work at our client site in Mitcham. The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide Security services by being first onsite - Open up and lockup of premises - FIRST IN, LAST OUT.- Monitor CCTV footage to ensure that assets are protected, to detect any signs of a security breach- Maintain logs, completing necessary paperwork and use of computer systems- Escalate incidents if any to relevant MSS managers- Respond professionally, courteously and promptly to all customer enquiries

What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in security services- Current VIC Security Licence with control room licence- Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations- Victorian drivers’ licence- Current First Aid and CPR- Full Australian working rights
