Amazon Student Programs Latin America (LATAM) will host #SheCanCode: Software Development Engineer (SDE) Learning Virtual Event through Brazen on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 3:00pm Mexico/Costa Rica time (6:00pm Sao Paulo time) for our open roles within the Software Development industry in these locations:

- Guadalajara, México.
- Ciudad de México, México.
- San José, Costa Rica.
- São Paulo, Brazil.

Amazon Student Programs Latin America (LATAM) is currently hiring several openings as:

- Reduced-time, temporary internships as Software Development Engineer (SDE Intern).
- Full-time, permanent positions as Software Development Engineer (SDE I).
- Hiring Process: Application > CV Review > Technical Coding Online Assessment (OA) > Two (2) Final Interviews.
- In-country relocation support is not available.
- Subject to your location, interviews will be held in Spanish or Portuguese, and English (intermediate English proficiency is required for all roles).

Key job responsibilities
- Solving problems that center around scale, impacting the user experience of thousands of Amazon customers.
- Owning software architecture, coding and technical designs.
- Writing quality, maintainable code and provide/receive peer code-review feedback.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define and improve user experience.

A day in the life
- Work with the team to help drive business decisions.
- Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to drive services optimizations, cost, and security.
- Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.
