- Job Purpose
- Technical responsible for equipment operation activities (machine tools, welding machines, heat treatment furnaces, hydraulic and testing machines, etc.).
- Job Description
Operate robotic welding cell and band saw in accordance with the design and manufacturing plan, procedures and appropriate material resources, from documentation review, trajectories, preparation of consumables (wires and substrate), preheating preparation, welding, repair (automated grinding), dimensional gauging, and removal of final part for cutting and cutting execution, in an orderly manner and documenting all previous steps;
- Participating in root cause analysis of process deviations and defects found in the parts produced;
- Handling loads inherent to the production process, defining and correctly using accessories and equipment in accordance with applicable procedures;
- Assisting the special processes engineering team in qualifying new welding procedures and drawing up standardized work instructions.
- You are meant for this job if:

- Experience with automated welding (MIG/MAG) or other welding processes;

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and execution procedures;

Basic knowledge of logic languages;

Knowledge and skill with measuring instruments, fixtures and fittings.

- Previous experience with cold cutting equipment desirable;

Knowledge of and previous experience with load handling;

Previous experience of welding nickel alloys, stainless steels and low alloys would be a plus;

Basic knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques: visual inspection, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle and ultrasound.
Flexibility to travel if necessary to work in other company units
