The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and curious Product Designer who is eager to grow and learn in a fast-paced, startup-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career in product design, who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences and excited to work closely with more senior designers, product managers, and engineers.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of visual design fundamentals and interaction design principles. While previous professional experience is not required, a portfolio showcasing academic, freelance, or personal projects in product design is essential.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with senior designers and product teams to support the creation of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs;
- Assist in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback;
- Participate in design critiques, team discussions, and client meetings when necessary;
- Help maintain and evolve internal design systems and component libraries;
- Apply visual design principles such as typography, color, layout, and hierarchy to deliver clean and consistent UI solutions;
- Stay up to date with the latest design tools, trends, and best practices in product design.

Requirements

- Full professional proficiency in English (verbal and written), with the ability to participate in team discussions and present your work;
- Experience with design tools like Figma and FigJam (either through coursework, personal projects,)
- Foundational understanding of user interface design, user experience principles, and visual design;
- A portfolio demonstrating your design thinking and UI/UX skills;
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to receive and implement feedback;
- Proactive attitude, with a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with basic prototyping tools (e.g., Figma Prototypes, Framer, etc.);
- Previous internship, freelance work, or open-source contributions related to digital product design;
- Exposure to SaaS products, B2B platforms, or startup environments;
- Great understanding of design systems and responsive design principles.
