Ai Video Ad Creator + Copywriter + Visual Asset Designer

The opportunity We're building a high-output creative engine for paid ads-and we're looking for a specialist who can write the words that sell and turn them into scroll-stopping short-form video ads using AI video tools, strong editing, and performance thinking. This is not a "make pretty videos" role. This is concept → copy → creative → iterations → winners. If you live at the intersection of genAI + storytelling + conversion copywriting, this role is for you. You'll create AI-driven video ads and visual assets for campaigns across TikTok, Instagram Reels/Stories, YouTube Shorts, Meta, and more. We optimize for ROAS, CTR, CVR, hook rate, hold rate, and retention-and the copywriting is a core lever in every asset we ship. What you'll do You own the creative from message to motion-including the copywriting. Copywriting + creative strategy - Write conversion-focused short-form scripts (15-45s): hooks, problem framing, proof, offer, CTA. - Create multiple copy angles per concept (pain-based, benefit-based, curiosity, contrarian, founder POV, social proof, demo-driven). - Write and version hook lines, VO scripts, on-screen text, captions, headlines, end-card CTAs, and thumbnail copy. - Translate product benefits into clear, punchy, platform-native messaging (no fluff, no generic AI-sounding copy). - Apply direct-response frameworks (Problem → Agitation → Solution, Before/After, Myth-busting, Objection handling, etc.) with modern pacing. Video production + asset creation - Produce short-form ad creatives designed for conversion (tight cuts, retention-first pacing, pattern interrupts). - Create AI-generated video sequences and combine them with real footage/UGC where needed. - Generate visual assets for ad variations: thumbnails, product scenes, backgrounds, overlays, cutdowns, motion graphics, end cards. - Build multiple versions of the same concept (different hooks, copy angles, pacing, captions, VO, formats). - Work from a brief and deliver fast iterations based on performance feedback. - Maintain brand consistency while still pushing creative boundaries. - Collaborate with growth/marketing to align creative with testing strategy and learnings. Minimum requirements (non-negotiable) To be considered, you must meet the requirements below and include proof in your application: - Resume must be written in English. - You must share examples of your AI video ad work with VO and Dialogue (not just AI visuals). - Copywriting is required: you must provide evidence you wrote/owned the scripts and ad copy for at least some of the work you share (scripts, hook lists, on-screen text, captions, or a short case study describing your role). - You must provide at least ONE of the following: - Evidence you produced creatives that generated strong ROAS / conversion lift (screenshots, case study, or summary metrics), OR - A video you produced that achieved 10,000+ views, OR - Proof you can create complex AI short-form ad videos (not basic slideshow edits-think narrative, scene continuity, ad pacing, multiple AI shots, strong compositing). - You have managed or been part of a social media account with 10,000+ followers. What "qualified" looks like (skills we're actively looking for) You don't just edit-you communicate and convert. - You understand what makes a video ad perform: thumb-stopping hooks, clear messaging, pattern interrupts, pacing, proof, offer structure, CTA clarity. - You can write direct-response copy that sounds human, specific, and brand-right-not generic "AI marketing" language. - You can create AI-driven visuals that look intentional and brand-ready (not uncanny or generic). - You can edit like a performance creator: tight cuts, retention-first pacing, captions, kinetic typography, sound design. - You have a repeatable workflow to deliver high volume with high quality (and keep assets organized). Tools & workflows (use what you're best at) We're tool-agnostic, but you should be highly capable with several of the following: AI + creative - AI video generation (e.G., Runway, Pika, or comparable tools) - AI image generation (e.G., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, etc.) - Voice & audio (AI voiceover tools, sound design, music selection, cleanup) Editing + delivery - Editing & motion (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci, etc.) - Creative versioning + organized file delivery (naming conventions, aspect ratios, exports) Copywriting workflow (important) - You can work quickly in tools like Docs/Notion, and you know how to build: - Hook banks - Script variations - Angle matrices - Offer/CTA libraries - Caption + primary text variants aligned to the video Deliverables & expectations Typical output: 10 ad creatives per month (depending on campaign cycle), plus variations. Format mastery: 9:16 primary, plus 1:1 and 16:9 cutdowns when needed. You can deliver: - Final exports (platform-ready) - Project files when requested - Source assets used (AI outputs, overlays, audio references) Copy deliverables (required): - Script + VO text (or structured script outline) - Hook variations (often 5-15 per concept) - On-screen text + caption plan (what appears when, and why) - End card copy + CTA variants - Optional: primary text/caption variants for Meta/TikTok where needed Turnaround: fast iteration is key (often 24-72 hours per revision cycle, depending on scope). How we evaluate success - Your creatives clearly map to an angle + message and drive action. - Iterations improve performance (hooks improve, retention improves, CTR/CVR improves). - Your output is consistent, organized, and easy to test at scale. - Your copy + editing work together (the words and visuals reinforce the same conversion story).
