Collections Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Collections Manager to lead our collections team and drive continuous improvement in our collection processes. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing teams, vendors, and operational frameworks, as well as expertise in credit operations and collections analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing collections team, including internal team members and external BPO partners, to achieve business objectives;
- Foster strong relationships with outsourced collection partners, monitoring KPIs, quality, and efficiency to ensure alignment with our collection strategies;
- Analyze data toidentify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements, automation, and workflow optimization to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
- Develop and execute collection strategies for overdue customers, gathering feedback to refine our approach and improve customer experience;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective customer communication strategies, adjusting content and cadence to optimize collection rates and customer satisfaction;
- Design and recommend tests and changes to our collection strategy to drive continuous improvement and innovation;
- Ensure seamlessalignment and implementation of collection strategies across teams and functions;
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in collections, preferably in banking, fintech, or a collection office, with a proven track record of leadership, team management, and operational excellence;
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing vendors, implementing scalable operational frameworks, and driving process improvements;
- In-depth knowledge of end-to-end credit operations and collections analysis, with expertise in data-driven decision making;
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.G., finance, economics, business)
- Advanced Excel skills, SQL programming skills is a plus;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to workacross time zones in an international setting, with a flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
