The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Design (or Chief Design Officer) to lead our design function and drive the creative vision of the company. This role is instrumental in scaling our design operations, strengthening our creative leadership, and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class design solutions to both our clients and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is a design leader with a proven track record in building and managing high-performing design teams, setting creative direction, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver impactful design outcomes in fast-paced, growth-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design team across branding, UI/UX, and visual communication, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation;
- Define and implement the overall design strategy and creative direction aligned with business objectives and client needs;
- Oversee the execution and quality of all design deliverables, ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with brand and product goals;
- Provide mentorship and guidance to designers, promoting professional development and skill growth;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Business Development) to integrate design into broader strategic initiatives;
- Represent the design function in executive-level discussions, contributing to business planning and positioning design as a strategic advantage;
- Evolve and maintain Uitify's visual identity, design systems, and creative processes;
- Monitor design trends, emerging tools, and industry benchmarks to ensure Uitify remains at the forefront of digital and brand design.
Requirements
- Full professional proficiency in English (verbal and written), with the ability to present and communicate with clarity and influence;
- 10+ years of experience in digital design, branding, or UI/UX, including at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic role;
- A strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating high-impact design projects, leadership in creative direction, and experience across both web and branding work;
- Deep expertise with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, and relevant prototyping tools;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale multidisciplinary design teams in fast-paced, client-facing environments;
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business goals into design strategy;
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with SaaS companies or startups;
- Familiarity with no-code platforms such as Webflow or Framer;
- Skills in motion design, prototyping, or interactive design;
- Had prior experience managing 10+ designers and 5+ projects concurrently
