Position: Tax Coordinator

Location: Rio de Janeiro (Barra da Tijuca)

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and monitor all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax laws and corporate policies.
- Prepare, review, and validate tax calculations, filings, and reports (federal, state, and municipal).
- Support audits and respond to tax authorities when required.
- Provide tax advisory support to internal departments on projects, contracts, and new business initiatives.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of tax accounts and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation in tax operations.
- Collaborate with external consultants and maintain updated knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory changes.

Requirements

- Degree in Accounting, Law, Economics, or related fields.
- Solid experience in tax coordination or similar positions.
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS/COFINS, ISS, ICMS, etc.).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Advanced English.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility.
