Position: Tax Coordinator

Location: Rio de Janeiro (Barra da Tijuca)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax laws and corporate policies.
  • Prepare, review, and validate tax calculations, filings, and reports (federal, state, and municipal).
  • Support audits and respond to tax authorities when required.
  • Provide tax advisory support to internal departments on projects, contracts, and new business initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of tax accounts and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation in tax operations.
  • Collaborate with external consultants and maintain updated knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory changes.


Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Law, Economics, or related fields.
  • Solid experience in tax coordination or similar positions.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS/COFINS, ISS, ICMS, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced English.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility.
