Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Backend Developer in Brazil. You will join one of our North American client's engineering team to maintain, design, implement, test, and deploy new features in their TypeScript SDK as well as fix bugs, improve, and update its existing functionalities. As an experienced developer, you will be responsible for writing great documentation, doing demos, and mentoring others. You will participate in the client's team ceremonies and other sessions.

This role has an initial short-term engagement of 3 months, with strong possibility of extension.

Required Qualifications

- Strong English communication, writing and verbal.
- Experience working independently and remotely.
- Strong experience with TypeScript.
- Experience consuming and designing client‑side wrappers for RESTful APIs - including authentication, versioning strategies, error‑handling semantics.
- Some exposure and understanding of Observability and Reliability - familiarity with OTEL and understanding of SLOs.
- Some degree of familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, GCP and AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

- Experience with Python in large codebases.
- Understanding of GenAI beyond simple applications such as using ChatGPT - usage of LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI, and/or Gemini APIs.
