We're looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust backend solutions that power our innovative access control systems. This is a crucial position that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.

This role involves working closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic, writing clean and efficient code, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. We're looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated and able to manage their time effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience in backend development
  • Proven experience with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot and Spring MVC
  • Familiarity with Git versioning systems

You'll also need to have a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services, as well as experience with observability technologies like Datadog. Additionally, you should have strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
