About the Role:

- Role: Senior UX/UI Designer
- Location: Brazil (Remote)
- Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the full UX/UI design process, from research and discovery to prototyping and final delivery.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and competitive analysis to uncover user insights and pain points.
- Translate research findings into personas, user flows, journey maps, and wireframes that guide product direction.
- Develop high-fidelity UI designs and maintain design systems that ensure cross-platform consistency.
- Define and advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
- Independently identify design opportunities, propose solutions, and make strategic design decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility, usability, and design consistency.
- Present design rationale and research-backed recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Must-Have Requirements

- 7+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing research-driven design decisions.
- Proven ability to independently lead design initiatives from concept to execution.
- Expertise in user research methods (interviews, surveys, usability studies, A/B testing).
- Strong proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Miro, etc.).
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
- Solid knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.
- Ability to simplify complex problems into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-design stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics).
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
