Job Title: Senior Backend Developer – Google Ads API

Description:

adMixt is hiring a Senior Backend Developer with deep, hands-on experience integrating Google Ads API . This is a senior-level role for someone who has spent years working directly with Google Ads and eCommerce systems to build robust, scalable backend advertising solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain API integrations with Google Ads
- Work with related APIs such as Shopify, Google Analytics, and attribution platforms
- Build data pipelines that enable reporting, attribution, and optimization across channels
- Collaborate with analysts and media buyers to turn business needs into backend systems
- Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code and implement error handling and logging
- Maintain and optimize legacy PHP systems, with potential to expand into other technologies

Requirements:

- Strong experience working with the Google Ads API and similar platforms
- Expertise in PHP (especially procedural codebases); experience with other backend languages is a plus
- 5+ years backend development experience, ideally with a focus on marketing and analytics integrations
- Familiarity with Shopify, Google Analytics, and eCommerce data flows
- Ability to write reliable, efficient API clients and manage authentication/token flows
- Strong debugging, documentation, and version control practices
