It aims to develop and promote advanced life science tools for future healthcare by providing real-time, comprehensive, life-long solutions.About RoleAs the HR Generalist/HRBP for MGI Tech Co., Ltd., based in our Brazil office, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our employees across Latin America. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with local employment laws, managing complex payroll processes across multiple agencies, and driving HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organisational success.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGRegional HR Support:Provide comprehensive HR support to employees in Brazil and Mexico ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations.Payroll Coordination:Coordinate salary and payroll processes between Global HQ in Shenzhen, a global staffing company, and local employment agencies, ensuring all payroll requests and changes are submitted on time. This includes managing different payroll schedules to ensure employees receive their salaries, benefits, and eligible commissions or bonuses.Recruitment & Onboarding:Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for the Latin American region, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.HR Systems Management:Maintain and optimise HR systems, ensuring accurate data management and system efficiency.Employee Relations:Serve as advisor to employees and managers, addressing employee relations issues, providing guidance on HR policies and fostering a positive work environment.Performance Management:Provide ongoing performance management support, including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions, to ensure alignment with business goals.Legal Compliance:Stay informed of and ensure compliance with employment laws in Brazil and Mexico. Manage immigration and employment-related issues, and provide guidance on legal requirements.HR Policy & Guidance:Develop, implement, and interpret HR policies across the region, ensuring consistency and alignment with global practices.Change Management:Support organisational change initiatives, coaching managers through transitions and fostering a high-performance culture.ABOUT YOUYou are highly knowledgeable about employment laws in Brazil, Mexico, Peru, and Canada.You excel in managing complex payroll processes across multiple agencies with different schedules.You are a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to solving HR challenges.You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide diverse teams.You are detail-oriented and conscientious, ensuring that all HR processes are executed accurately and on time.Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken, proficiency in Chinese is a plus.WHERE YOU WILL WORKLocation: Based in our Sao Paulo office in Brazil, with global HQ in Shenzhen, China.Travel: Occasional travel within Latin America, to the United States, and potentially to China for conferences or company events.WHAT YOU WILL BRING USExpertise in HR practices, including payroll coordination, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.Strong knowledge of employment laws in Brazil and Mexico with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.Experience managing HR systems and ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.A proven track record of successfully supporting regional HR operations in a multi-country context.The ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.WHAT YOUR EDUCATION LOOKS LIKEBachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.3 to 5+ years of experience in a Human Resource-related field, with a strong focus on regional HR support and payroll management.BENEFITSWe offer eligible employees and their dependents (including domestic partners) a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
