Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain AML/CFT and sanctions policies and procedures aligned with Brazilian regulatory requirements and global best practices. Regulatory interface (inspections, responses, remediation plans) Conduct customer due diligence (CDD/KYC/KYB) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews in accordance with risk-based methodologies. Support ongoing transaction monitoring, screening, and investigation of suspicious activities. Prepare, review, and file Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other regulatory filings with COAF or relevant authorities. Monitor developments in AML/CFT and sanctions laws, and assist in updating internal procedures accordingly. Assist in the delivery of internal training and awareness sessions on AML/CFT and sanctions compliance. Conduct periodic risk assessments, ensuring all controls are operating effectively and aligned with the company’s enterprise risk management framework. Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all compliance reviews, escalations, and filings. Support internal and external audits, as well as inspections or information requests from regulators. Coordinate with Legal, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to strengthen compliance systems and data integrity. Contribute to the assessment and oversight of third-party vendors that support AML/CFT and compliance operations. Requirements: Legally resident in Brazil. Senior-level experience (minimum 7 years) in AML/CFT and sanctions compliance experience in financial, fintech, or VASP sectors.
