Full Stack Engineer

Role: Senior Full Stack Developer (Java Spring Boot | Ruby on Rails | Angular)Experience: 7+ years Work location: Heredia, Costa Rica & remote for LATAM English Required: B2+ - C1Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, and Angular to lead complex application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical contributor with a proven track record in building scalable, high-performance systems. While excelling in backend implementation and frontend execution. This role is ideal for a technically strong developer who is ready to expand their impact beyond code delivery into collaborative leadership, stakeholder communication, and architectural decision-making. Require Qualifications: 7+ years of professional experience in Java Spring Boot and core Java (OOP, data structures, algorithms). 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and full-stack web development. Proven experience with Angular and modern frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js). Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and deployment automation tools. Effective communication across global teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end development of scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, and Angular . Deliver high-quality code with a strong emphasis on performance, security, and clean architecture . Actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other team members to translate business needs into technical solutions. Drive technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and standardization across teams. Represent technical solutions and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies in project planning and execution. Contribute to migration projects, system modernization, and platform upgrades with minimal disruption.
