As a backend developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering principles and be able to apply them to develop scalable, flexible, and resilient systems. They will work closely with our development team to integrate internal and external services using RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event hubs. Key Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Java developer who can lead the development of our backend features using Spring Boot and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as non-relational databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB. They will also have experience with messaging and event streaming systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ, and proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Requirements: Experience in backend development with Java 8+ Strong experience in developing and deploying microservices in public cloud environments (preferably AWS). Solid knowledge of relational (e.G., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.G., DynamoDB, MongoDB). Experience with messaging and event streaming systems (e.G., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS). Proficiency with microservices architecture including containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Familiarity with observability best practices (structured logging, metrics, health checks), using tools like DataDog. Strong testing practices: unit testing (JUnit), integration and contract testing (Postman/Newman). Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or similar.
