Leap29 is hiring on behalf of an international engineering and project development firm with 3GW of Solar PV projects in Development, spanning multiple regions in Brazil. We are seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to join their team in Natal. In this role, you will contribute to the design, technical review, and execution of large-scale renewable energy projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across countries. Key Responsibilities: Perform on-site inspections and technical assessments of solar PV projects in development. Verify electrical systems and infrastructure against design specifications. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and project teams to ensure proper installation and alignment with development requirements. Support technical due diligence and documentation for investor handover. Monitor regulatory and safety compliance on-site. Provide feedback to the engineering and development teams to optimize project execution. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (CREA registration required). 4–7 years of experience in renewable energy projects, preferably solar PV. Hands-on experience with electrical installation, testing, and commissioning. Familiarity with ETAP, DIgSILENT, or AutoCAD Electrical is a plus. Strong knowledge of Brazilian grid codes and renewable energy standards. Fluent in Portuguese; English required, Spanish is a plus.
