About the roleWe are looking for aSenior Platform Engineerto build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works with service mesh technologies to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native development tooling rounds out the role.
What you will doDesign, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform services to support Arkestro's growth.
Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing infrastructure-level improvements.
Manage cloud resources and service boundaries, ensuring security and operational excellence.
Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize the development process and increase efficiency.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Must haves4+ years of server developmentinPython or Type Script.
3+ years of experiencewith API design and development, includingREST/g RPC.
2+ years of experiencewithAWS and Kubernetes , with experience in Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, etc.
2+ years of experiencebuilding advanced architectural components, such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
6+ months of experienceworking with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
6+ months of SDLC AI-native usagevia Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
Upper-intermediate English level.
