This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our mobile projects team in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining complex user interfaces and features for mobile applications (Android).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead efforts to design, develop and maintain efficient and robust systems that support order processing, logistics and real-time tracking.
- Contribute to building scalable and highly trafficked experiences in the Rider App, including homescreen, messaging and core trip flow.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features and services.
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field, or 6-years full-time Software Engineering work experience with 5-years total technical software engineering experience in Android development.
- Strong algorithm and data structures fundamentals, including hash tables, trees, stacks, queues, linked lists, DFS and BFS.
- Advanced English language skills and ability to communicate effectively with global teams.
- Buck/Bazel build system and experience with cross-platform development.
