Job Overview

Boeing is seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our BR&T Structures team, you will be responsible for developing and providing support for the primary and secondary structures of the X-66 airplane.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Structural Modifications: Develop, integrate, and document structural modifications on system and sub-system levels.
  2. Structural Integrity: Guide product design and verify structural integrity of parts and components by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to ensure safety, quality, and performance of the product.
  3. Customer Communication: Participate in customers and other stakeholders' communication to drive solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  4. Certification Reports: Define affected structural requirements, create certification reports (analysis or tests) to substantiate stress analysis results to be disclosed and approved by customers and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  1. Work Authorization: Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
  2. Education: Must have a degree in Engineering.
  3. Language Skills: Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
  4. Registration: Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  5. Experience: Experience with Structures Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Structural Analysis Methods: Experience in structural analysis methods and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method).
  2. Design and Analysis: Experience with design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.
  3. Compliance Demonstration: Direct experience working with compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA).
  4. Travel: Occasional travel may be required in support of the program and customer, both domestically and internationally.
  5. Communication Skills: Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in an engineering environment.
  6. Mechanical Systems: Experience with mechanical systems (flight controls or mech-hyd).

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
