Delivery Professionals in Brazil are responsible for the successful delivery of Professional Services projects and engagements. To achieve this, they must ensure that Statements of Work (SOWs) are clearly defined with proper estimated levels of effort, resulting in billable engagements with minimal risk and maximum project margin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate the scope of services, time frames, costs, and staffing required to deliver the services work, ensuring quality and profitability of the projects.
  • Serve as 1st level of approval in Global Deal Desk for all deals and be responsible for accuracy of project calculation data.
  • Align with the PS Sales and Delivery Director to manage revenue forecast and utilization for projects in the project portfolio.
  • Manage project margin to meet or improve on the sold-as project margin.
  • Establish project management and services delivery discipline to ensure quality of services delivered.
  • Adhere to and execute processes and policies around project implementation and delivery services.
  • Provide delivery leadership in the specified region and serve as an escalation point to assist and resolve issues within services delivery.
  • Manage own assignments as project manager, solution architect, delivering to the requirements of the role being fulfilled.
  • Provide guidance to other consultants regarding medium to large-sized implementations and retainer projects.
  • Develop mentoring relationships with staff personnel.
  • Engage proactively and work as a team player with various groups, including licenses, pre-sales, technical support, and business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and independently.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a practical and reasonable approach.
  • Experience creating SOWs and project plans for Fixed Price and Time & Material projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written communication, with English as a requirement.
  • Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of thoughts, plans, activities, and processes.
  • Experience working in various industries, client organizations, and projects spanning different sizes and revenue ranges.
  • Understanding of project financial variables, such as margin, P&L, revenue recognition, and utilization.
  • Ability to make and keep commitments, meet schedules and deadlines, and complete assignments, projects, and goals within allotted timeframes and budgets.
  • Ability to represent the company and its products confidently and convincingly.
  • Ability to document agreements and create meeting minutes with quick turnaround and distribution.
  • Initiative to stay up-to-date with skill sets and knowledge areas.
