Business Intelligence Specialist

This role involves analyzing large volumes of complex data, extracting insights, and helping solve problems. The primary goal is to take raw information and construct narratives that enable informed business decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and identify relevant data sources.
  • Cleanse and transform data into a usable format, creating visualizations and reports to meet requirements.
  • Present findings and gather feedback from stakeholders on the finished product.
  • Deploy data, reports, and visualizations, and develop them according to analyst-defined specifications.
  • Conduct training sessions for technical skills.
  • Maintain and document the operational environment.
  • Process SQL Server stored procedures and queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions, analyzing, and visualizing data.
  • Familiarity with Tableau administration, licensing, security, and deployment, and at least 1 year of previous work experience using Tableau.
  • A strong understanding of relational data modeling concepts.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a hands-on approach to delivering commitments.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a disciplined approach to implementation, support, and documentation.
  • Experience with ETL of data from various sources using SSIS, Python, or similar technologies (a plus).
  • Knowledge of SQL Server database architecture and/or experience with creating tabular data models in SQL Server (a plus).
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
