As a Power Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our onboard power plant. Your key duties will include:

Job Description

You will be working closely with other crew members to ensure the smooth operation of the power plant. This includes monitoring and maintaining equipment, as well as conducting daily checks and drills to ensure everything is in good working order.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to health, safety, and environmental protection.

In addition, you will participate in training and competence assessments as assigned and/or required, and maintain accurate records of all activities.

Furthermore, you will be expected to assume a safety role as per station bill and emergency preparedness plan, and take part in meeting activities in a proactive and constructive manner.
