Senior Mechanical Construction Manager

We are seeking a skilled mechanical engineer with experience in construction management to join our organization.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for developing and maintaining quality assurance processes for ongoing construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of International Codes and be able to develop working knowledge of technical project requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes for construction projects.
- Review contractor submittals and prepare responses to requests for information.
- Evaluate proposed submittal substitutions and make recommendations to the project director.
- Coordinate the development of independent government estimates for modifications and change orders.
- Review design calculations and data from an engineering perspective.
- Prepare monthly progress reports summarizing project status, emphasizing engineering aspects.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- An ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an active P.E. license from the U.S.
- An active secret U.S. clearance.
- At least 7 years of experience in construction management.
