We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to join our Support Engineering team. As a Support Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in delivering world-class support to our customers.

About the RoleThe Support Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers in providing support for Ubuntu Server, Desktop, and public cloud solutions. This role involves:
- Team Leadership: Manage a professional support team, including skills development and performance management.
- Operational Control: Be responsible for shift scheduling, operational control, and accountability for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Customer Support: Respond to customer cases within service level agreements (SLAs) and professionally.
- Troubleshooting: Act as the escalation contact for customers and ensure timely resolution of complex issues.
- Knowledge Base: Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive CLI Experience with Linux: Strong knowledge of Linux command-line interfaces and experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Leadership and Team Management Experience: Proven track record of managing technical teams and driving customer satisfaction.
- Customer Focus: Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure to meet customer expectations.
