Procurement Excellence Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Excellence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for executing procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Job Description

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies in collaboration with sourcing and project procurement managers to minimize risks and maximize value.
  2. Execute purchasing activities within defined timeframes and budgets, ensuring seamless communication with vendors and stakeholders.
  3. Manage the receipt of vendor bids, negotiate optimal terms, and prepare accurate purchase order documents.
  4. Support quality notifications and execute return/recovery plans for deliverables at risk due to quality issues or delayed delivery.
  5. Act as a technical expert in purchasing domains, providing guidance and expertise when required.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve processes.
  7. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize procurement efficiency.
  9. Prioritize and manage large spend scopes to prevent disruptions and ensure fulfillment of project milestones and client expectations.
  10. Manage internal escalations, proactively mitigating risks and identifying opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Advanced/Fluent level of English.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to grow and learn through hands-on critical and demanding scope.
