Job Description

The successful candidate will prioritize and submit work requests, classify priority using command guidance, and provide periodic updates to management on projects pending and completed.

You will be designated as the Command's Personal Property Manager (PPM) to manage, administer, and implement the property control and accountability program, ensuring government property is accounted for throughout its lifecycle.

This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to ensure seamless execution of tasks and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize and submit work requests utilizing established guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding project progress and milestones.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for managing personal property, including tracking and categorization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for property control initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
  • Must complete training and obtain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications:

Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Providing management experience in directing a variety of support services, such as managing a help desk, prioritizing and initiating service desk calls, tracking building maintenance work requests, and elevating urgent repairs.

Education:

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position.
