The Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for critically evaluating and managing credit risk through in-depth financial analysis, supporting informed and sustainable business decisions.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Conduct thorough financial risk assessments to support sound decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive credit request reports as a solid foundation for strategic business planning.
- Exercise authority to approve or reject credit requests within established parameters to drive business growth.
- Regularly review the credit/risk profile of assigned portfolios to maintain control and identify opportunities for corrective action.
- Provide expert advice, training, and support on credit and risk management strategies to stakeholders.
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Postgraduate degree or MBA is highly desirable.
- Advanced analytical skills and expertise in financial indicators are essential.
- Strong ability to analyze and mitigate credit risks.
- Proficiency in utilizing credit models and scoring systems.
- Experience in using Excel software.
- PowerBI experience is an asset.
