Environmental Support Specialist

The Environmental Support Specialist role offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about providing exceptional care and support to seniors living in their own homes.
This position is part of a comprehensive healthcare program that provides necessary care services, enabling seniors to remain at home while receiving the care they need. Our team values open communication and shared decision-making to deliver excellent care and services.
As a successful Environmental Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including equipment repair and bi-weekly checks on essential systems
- Conducting regular inspections of larger equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Ensuring fire safety equipment, alarms, exit signs, and fire extinguishers are operational and well-maintained
- Keeping common areas, bathrooms, and other spaces clean and disinfected
- Completing standard housekeeping duties in various areas, including laundry rooms and therapy spaces
A positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for helping others are essential for this role. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience in healthcare is preferred but not necessary.
