Job Title: Backend Security Expert

Overview

As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge security solutions to detect user events in hCaptcha application using JavaScript or Go.

Collaborating with security and machine learning engineers, you will leverage these languages to improve features and ensure the highest level of security for our users.

You will practice DevSecOps handling security implementations, monitoring, automation, and production systems.

  • Work closely with team members to execute solutions impacting fraud detection and mitigation.
  • Design low-latency, high-availability features with transparent performance insights.
  • Write maintainable, well-documented, tested code meeting open-source quality standards.
  • Support engineering excellence through code reviews, test automation, and on-call participation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years backend engineering experience.
  • Proven experience building scalable solutions with JavaScript and/or Go.
  • Expertise in Web APIs, HTTP, SSL, database management.
  • Strong background in serverless and containerization architectures.
  • Proficiency in network protocols and distributed systems.
