Asset Performance Specialist

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge digital solutions for asset-intensive industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical analyses, studies, and prioritization of opportunities aligned with strategic roadmaps.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments, scout innovations, and evaluate economic and technical viability to inform investment decisions.
  • Optimize industrial processes to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and quality compliance.
  • Apply in-depth mechanical engineering expertise on rotating equipment to identify continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Define technical requirements and guide development of algorithms and models focused on performance monitoring, failure prediction, anomaly detection, energy efficiency, and emissions reduction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement data strategies that enhance decision-making and process effectiveness.
  • Solve complex technical challenges, providing innovative, high-quality solutions to support project goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry or similar environments, with knowledge in predictive maintenance, asset diagnostics, and industrial operations.
  • Deep understanding of rotating machinery, sensor systems, performance monitoring, protection schemes, failure modes, and equipment specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with PI AF (Asset Framework) for data analysis and building predictive models.
  • Background in asset integrity and performance management, and ability to facilitate studies such as HAZOP, HAZID, RCA, FMEA, and RCM.
