Senior Financial Accountant Role

This is a senior-level position that requires an experienced SAP consultant with expertise in tax and financial accounting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Consult on business process requirements to translate them into system designs and SAP functional solutions (SAP S/4 HANA).
  • Develop, test, and implement end-to-end SAP functional solutions.
  • Support indirect tax configuration and implementation with OneSource and SAP Tax AddOn (Global Next).
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Guide system validation processes including documentation and testing.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in SAP FI/CO and Tax domain.
  • Proven experience implementing InDirect Tax (OneSource) in Canada and the USA.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Tax AddOn, Tax Engine Configuration (OneSource).
  • Knowledge of SAP Document Reporting and Compliance, Statutory Reporting, eDocuments, FI Tax, General Ledger.
  • Understanding of both Direct and Indirect Taxes.
