Litigation Lawyer Assistant

A skilled Litigation Paralegal is required to manage operational aspects of litigation cases, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and smooth case management.

• Oversee litigation calendars, deadlines, and court filings to maintain timely progress.
• Ensure organized case files, documents, and evidence are maintained in accordance with firm policies.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests under the supervision of attorneys.
• Coordinate effective communication between attorneys, clients, and external parties.
• Conduct thorough research on relevant case laws, statutes, and regulations for ongoing litigation matters.
• Monitor case timelines and ensure completion of tasks within set deadlines.
• Support trial preparation and provide assistance during hearings and trials as needed.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in litigation support.

• Proven experience as a paralegal or similar role within a law firm is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case management software is mandatory.
• Knowledge of litigation procedures, legal terminology, and court rules is required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is highly valued.
• U.S.-based law firm experience is preferred, as well as experience in insurance disputes or working in-house for insurance companies.
