Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Litigation paralegals play a vital role in supporting law firms with operational aspects of litigation. They oversee case management, ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage litigation calendars, deadlines and court filings.
  • Organize and maintain case files, documents and evidence in compliance with firm policies.
  • Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions and discovery requests.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between attorneys, clients and external parties.
  • Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation matters.
  • Monitor case timelines and ensure timely completion of legal tasks.
  • Assist in trial preparation and provide support during hearings and trials.
  • Implement and improve operational processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in litigation support.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a paralegal or similar role within a law firm.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research, document management and case management software.
  • Knowledge of litigation procedures, legal terminology and court rules.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required for this position.

This entry-level position requires strong work ethic, willingness to learn and fluency in written and oral English and spoken Spanish, with professional expertise in legal research, handling legal paperwork, and understanding laws and procedures.
