Radiopharmaceutical Specialist

As a Radiopharmaceutical Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the nuclear pharmacy, overseeing execution of key tasks and procedures, including optimizing pharmacy operations, managing inventory, processing orders, and compounding patient-specific doses of drugs.
  • Compounds and dispenses radiopharmaceuticals and other medications with extreme accuracy.
  • Develops and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the nuclear pharmacy.
  • Maintains strong relationships with outside suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of necessary components and materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Valid Pharmacist's license in the state in which the pharmacy operates.
  • Ability to complete at least 200 hours of academic training in a nuclear pharmacy through an accredited program.
  • Working knowledge of biohazardous waste management procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and healthcare professionals.
