Job Description

At a leading organization, we are modernizing legacy platforms and building a QA automation team to support it. This new team will own the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of a centralized automation framework that supports both legacy and modern applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a scalable test automation framework supporting multiple product lines.
  • Develop and execute automated functional, regression, and smoke tests across UI and API layers.
  • Collaborate with engineers and QA leads to align testing practices and improve delivery speed.
  • Evaluate and incorporate modern automation tools to improve test efficiency and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and QA strategy discussions to ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements:

  • Experience building test automation in fast-paced environments.
  • Track record of designing or extending test frameworks using modern tools.
  • Strong understanding of manual QA as a foundation for effective automation.
  • Exposure to multi-team or multi-product test environments.
  • Experience writing test cases for APIs and UI workflows.
