Job Description:

As a Cloud Field Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of field engineers in presales and professional services. Your primary goal will be to solve customer problems by promoting technologies and acting as a trusted advisor.

You will work remotely in your time zone and be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and providing career development feedback to your team members. Additionally, you will identify and measure team health indicators, implement disciplined engineering processes, and represent your team and products to stakeholders, partners, and customers.

Another key aspect of this role is developing and promoting best engineering and organizational practices. You will also plan and manage progress on goals and projects, participate in leadership team collaborations, and ensure timely, high-quality results.

This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent English language proficiency. You should have a dynamic personality, be proactive in new projects and interacting with people, and possess experience in technical presales.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Ceph. Practical Linux and networking skills are also essential.
