Homologation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Homologation Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who has experience in product development and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain homologation business by understanding customer needs and promoting sales to the Applus IDIADA workforce.
  • Perform technical validation according to regulatory acts from various countries, including the United Nations and European Union.
  • Collaborate with Brazilian authorities (CETESB / IBAMA / DENATRAN) and international experts to clarify doubts and ensure compliance.
  • Manage projects related to homologations, including coordination and execution of activities such as witness tests, quotation preparation, project follow-up, target definition, and proposal development.
Requirements:
  • Strong customer and service orientation, with a high level of initiative and proactive approach.
  • Detail-oriented in preparing technical documentation and test reports.
  • Able to understand and manage technical standards.
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time, including worldwide trips.
  • Familiarity with vehicle systems, including passive safety, active safety, powertrain, etc.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, dynamic, and very international environment with daily contact with foreign colleagues.
  • High level of commitment to assigned responsibilities and strong identification with corporate objectives.
  • Good communication skills, able to teach clients about technical requirements.
  • Confident with the ability to convince through technical arguments.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Automotive homologation experience.
Education and Language Skills:
  • Engineering Degree; other education may be accepted if it demonstrates knowledge of legislation/standards.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory) and basic Spanish.
  • Native or fluent in Portuguese.
