
Security Strategy Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Security Engineering professional to partner with our VP of Sales - Latam in building, initiating, and executing the overall Go-to-Market strategy for Tenable Security in Latam.
This role will help initiate innovative strategic changes, plan and execute on any aspect of our business that drives success for our Global SE team and the Latam SE Team specifically. The individual will strive to achieve this Advisory vision while driving operational efficiencies that allow for improved work-life balance, increased sales productivity, and high retention rates.
Your Opportunity
- As a strong business partner with the VP of Latam Sales, you will be responsible for all aspects of their business, including strategic planning, market penetration, channel enablement, and more.
- You will run projects that relate to our core values of innovation, differentiation, and operational efficiency.
- Lead the team as a true leader, aside from management responsibilities.
- Build a strong layer of trust amongst the SE Manager(s) and Individual Contributors reporting into this role.
- Ensure that all team members are comfortable working together as a cohesive unit across the SE organization.
- Craft innovative processes, projects, demo platforms, etc., that help Individual Contributors differentiate in the market.
- Channel focus:
- Work closely with the Channel SE team to drive Partner SE self-sufficiency, Low-Touch, No-Touch.
- Develop a model that accomplishes the two main aspects that drive a Partner Sales team towards a particular vendor: strong personal relationships and timely responses.
- Focus on dashboard metrics that allow SE Managers, Partner Leadership, and SEs to understand how their business is performing, what changes are effective or not, and where to improve sales operations and sales motions.
- POV Framework metrics
- Demo Cloud usage
- Leadership and Individual Contributor enablement progressions
- Business analysis that correlates data from various sources to recognize weaknesses.
- Recruiting, Retention/Attrition analysis
- Ensure we build diversity in the team and that Leaders know how to lead Multi-Generational Teams.
- Develop an environment that ensures an attractive culture for all generational groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Field background with strong security expertise
- Experience in developing programs and communications focused on sales teams
- Excellent project management, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills are essential
- Ability to develop and evolve long-term strategies while consistently driving tactical projects
- Must be able to drive plans to execution, incorporating cross-functional needs and deliverables
- Self-motivation, creativity, and determination to reach goals and objectives with limited management intervention are critical to success
- Thorough understanding of sales organizations, with a proven track record in field engagements
- Possess a true understanding of Leadership versus Management
- Drive toward a dynamic, open-door culture and personal connection to the SE Manager(s) and Individual Contributors
- 10+ years of work experience
- Experience with Vulnerability and Web Application scanning technologies is beneficial
- Solid foundational knowledge of TCP/IP and network security concepts
- Knowledge of common Security compliance standards
- Experience with Cloud Security or ability to enhance your knowledge
- Portuguese, Spanish, and English speaking
