Job Overview:
- A clinical research associate is responsible for monitoring investigator sites with a risk-based approach, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify site processes failure and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring investigational product through physical inventory and records review
- Ensuring data accuracy through source document verification, on-site and remote monitoring activities
- Documenting observations in reports and letters using approved business writing standards
- Maintaining regular contact with investigative sites to confirm protocol adherence and timely data recording
- Participating in investigator meetings and initiating clinical trial sites according to relevant procedures
- Conducting on-site file reviews and ensuring required essential documents are complete and in place
- Facilitating effective communication between investigative sites, the client company, and the project team
