Job Title: Engineering Lead Analyst

Overview

The engineering lead analyst is responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex IT systems. This includes installation, configuration, and support of high-availability platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and maintenance of operating systems, security software, middleware, and communications software on hardware platforms such as Power-8 and Power-10.
  • Managing and maintaining multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting project goals.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements, defining project scope, and delivering projects that meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in IT operations.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the team remains competitive and adaptable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working in large, complex IT environments, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering results on time, operational process change, and improvement.
  • 5+ years of experience providing level 2/3 engineering support.
  • Ability to work effectively with virtual and in-person teams, manage competing priorities under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
