Position Overview:

We seek a seasoned, highly skilled architect with a passion for emerging technologies to join the Enterprise Architecture & Technology Enablement team within the Business Technology (BT) organization. The Innovation Solutions Architect will spearhead the innovation strategy, responsible for crafting advanced architectural patterns and platforms that can be efficiently and securely scaled to unveil new business avenues. This individual will lead global teams in delivering cutting-edge technology while serving as the primary advisor for proofs-of-concept, proofs-of-value, and pilot projects. This position reports to the Technology Innovation Lead in the BT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative, scalable, efficient, and secure technical architectures and infrastructures for proofs-of-concept addressing business challenges.
  • Evaluate and introduce full-stack, reusable architecture patterns for technologies such as AI, Blockchain, Metaverse, AR/VR, IoT, and robotics, while automating the creation of new instances and environments.
  • Collaborate with other technical experts, including cloud engineers, security engineers, data engineers, and compliance officials, ensuring adherence to Bunge's Enterprise Architecture principles.
  • Engage with key external vendors and partners to stay abreast of the latest technology trends and best practices.
  • Serve as a mentor and experience leader, guiding teams through complex technical challenges.
  • Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences to foster creativity and collaboration, promoting a culture of innovation.
  • Develop business cases and incubate new technologies, collaborating with leadership to integrate new technologies into strategic roadmaps.
  • Identify and safeguard valuable intellectual property generated through research and development via patent filings and licensing agreements.
  • Establish and assess Objectives & Key Results and performance metrics for technology innovation initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of experience in architecting secure, scalable, and efficient innovative prototypes and production solutions across several of the following technologies:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI), including LLMs, Generative AI, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Blockchain technology, encompassing distributed ledger technology, smart contracts, and consensus mechanisms.
  • Cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and infrastructure as code, particularly with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Internet of Things (IoT), including sensors, actuators, and data analytics.
  • 5G networks and edge computing.
  • Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR).
  • Robotics and automation.
  • Cybersecurity, including encryption, authentication, and access control.
  • Data science and analytics, including statistics, predictive modeling, and optimization.
  • Design thinking and user experience (UX).

Experience in some of the following innovation activities is advantageous:

  • Hackathons
  • Intrepreneurship and/or Entrepreneurship programs
  • Coding competitions
  • Open-source contributions
  • Patent applications

Understanding IT governance structures and related topics would also be beneficial.
