About the Role

Operations x Project Management x Leadership x Agriculture

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with a true passion for managing complex projects. As InPlanet's Head of ERW projects, you will oversee the overall strategy, implementation, and execution of our projects, focusing on the supply chain, logistics, and monitoring activities. You will manage a team of experts, including supply and quality managers, project managers, and GIS modelers, to ensure timely and well-managed project delivery.
Key responsibilities include finding solutions for transport and spreading logistics, guaranteeing prompt transport, sampling, and spreading, and negotiating with third parties to improve InPlanet's offer and attractiveness. You will also be responsible for increasing team capacity as we scale and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project strategy, focusing on supply chain, logistics, and monitoring activities.
  • Manage a team of experts, including supply and quality managers, project managers, and GIS modelers.
  • Ensure timely and well-managed project delivery, including finding solutions for transport and spreading logistics.
  • Negotiate with third parties to improve InPlanet's offer and attractiveness.
  • Increase team capacity as we scale.
  • Keep daily operations running smoothly.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a fast-growth environment, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Exceptional project management and effective people management skills.
  • Prior experience in agriculture and/or logistics and/or mining.
  • Experience in setting up a strategy and working with company goals.
  • Experience in operational reporting via key performance indicators.
  • Strong knowledge about operations and management in general.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese and advanced English.
  • High dedication, precision, and love for detail.
  • Intrinsic motivation for developing others.
  • Passion for sustainable, regenerative agriculture and climate change mitigation.
  • Disposition to travel within Brazil and spend some time periodically in Piracicaba, SP, Brazil.
