Direct Buyer

The Procurement team is responsible for the procurement of direct materials. As a key member, you will report to the Senior Director and be accountable for procuring raw materials, packaging, and devices.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct spend analysis and forecast to identify savings opportunities.
- Ensure proper supplier engagement and selection processes.
- Manage Direct Materials Standard Costs as per company procedures.
- Oversee supplier qualification and support issue escalation.
- Evaluate suppliers, support operations, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage supplier portfolio and strategic partnerships.
- Define and monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
- Negotiate and renew Supply Agreements, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Handle industrial purchase orders and potential supplier disputes.
- Coordinate supplier interviews with internal departments.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and anti-bribery policies.
- Academic degree in Engineering or Economics, or other related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in Procurement, preferably in direct Procurement.
- Fluent in English; Italian is an asset.
- Ability to manage cross-functional and international relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good negotiation skills and focus on goal achievement.
- Analytical skills.
- Operational flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system.
- Availability for business trips.
