Drive Change in Sustainable Transportation Operations

Job Description:

We are seeking a Sustainable Transportation Manager to join our team and contribute to the development of a reverse logistics operations program structure, fostering sustainability and operational excellence.

  • Lead analysis and tracking of carbon emissions across transportation networks and facilities
  • Design and implement OTR and UTR cross-functional emission reduction strategies to support our 2040 net-zero carbon goal
  • Create incentive programs for Third-Party (3P) carriers adopting low or zero-emission vehicles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data-driven insights on transportation emissions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement sustainable transportation initiatives
  • Evaluate potential carbon reduction technologies and solutions

A Day in the Life:Data Analysis & Monitoring

  • Analyze transportation emissions data from multiple sources
  • Monitor carbon emissions trends across networks and facilities
Strategy Development & Implementation
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to reduce carbon emissions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve sustainable transportation goals
Carrier Program Management
  • Design and manage incentive programs for Third-Party (3P) carriers
  • Track the adoption of low or zero-emission vehicles by carriers
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Communicate progress updates and key findings to leadership and stakeholders
  • Participate in industry working groups and sustainability forums
Research & Innovation
  • Stay up to date with trends in sustainable transportation
  • Research emerging technologies and innovative solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
  • Advanced English proficiency preferred
