The role of Administrative Coordinator for Research Initiatives is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of research projects. Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate inventory records and track orders for clinical trials supplies and equipment
- Process staff reimbursements and related financial entries
- Coordinate travel arrangements for research team members
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare reports and presentations
- Assist with grant management and coordination
- Contribute to manuscript preparation and writing efforts for publications
- Coordinate meetings with funders and stakeholders
- Prepare a monthly newsletter highlighting clinical trials updates and events
- Track and reconcile budget items and deliverables
This role involves direct involvement in clinical trial unit operations, communication with internal and external stakeholders, and collaboration with research teams to ensure project success.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Advanced knowledge of administrative practices and principles
- Skill in operating computers and software applications
- Ability to problem solve and make informed decisions
- Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
