Clinical Research Nurse Role
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team and contribute to the integrity and quality of clinical trials. As a key member of our research team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals.
Responsibilities:
- Compliance Officer: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and maintain accurate records.
- Training Specialist: Provide comprehensive training for site coordinators and supervise their work.
- Program Manager: Oversee the clinical trials program, including auditing and monitoring activities.
- Collaborator: Work closely with multidisciplinary researchers to develop research programs that integrate new advances in clinical trials management.
Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
- Active Basic Life Support certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- A minimum of four years of research nursing experience or two years of clinical nursing experience in a related specialty and two years of research nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Research Administrator (CRA) or Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC).
